This project was created to help SF Tsunami coaches provide the best swimming drills for their swimmers to practice in the pool, with the goal of increasing engagement and retaining members.

What People Are Saying

“The passion and innovation Ed brings to any collaborative space are refreshing. His insight into analyzing problems deeply truly shows when he proposes practical solutions. Any company would be lucky to have him on their team”

Emily Becker, Instructional & Equity Leadership Coach

“Having had the pleasure of working with Ed for the past five years as an instructional designer and educator for West Contra Costa Ed Fund has been nothing short of a miracle. He had a heavy hand in updating and implementing the goals for the Ed Fund’s summer program. Not only does he exceed expectations, but his calm demeanor and attitude make it a pleasure to work alongside him. ”

Sarah Camacho, Community Partnership Manager

“I’ve worked with Ed for three years now, and it is safe to say that if there is a task or challenge given to him he always finds a way to get it done. He is a reliable, level-headed, and tenacious professional who focuses on the right tasks to meet deadlines and please those he works for. He is one to look out for. ”

A Bit About Me

Who am I: I’m Ed, originally from Southern California and now living in San Francisco. I am driven by a strong desire for personal, professional, and emotional growth. My teaching experience has deepened my understanding of how people learn, allowing me to grow while helping others succeed, which brings me great fulfillment.

My why: I am driven by a relentless desire to become the best version of myself, constantly seeking opportunities for growth. Developing high-quality learning solutions fuels my passion for self-improvement. While I’m dedicated to supporting others, my primary focus is on refining my skills to achieve the highest level of impact. Embracing discomfort and stepping into unfamiliar territory pushes me to adapt, learn, and evolve.

My skills: My analytical skills are a key asset in designing effective learning solutions. By thinking critically and deeply about situations, people, and challenges, I’m able to produce clear, methodical results. Paired with my strong ability to communicate ideas effectively, this skill set makes me well-suited for collaborative roles like instructional design.

What I love: As a triathlete, I'm constantly moving—whether it's swimming, cycling, or running around the city. Staying active is vital to my well-being. I'm also deeply involved in my community, raising thousands of dollars each year for the SF AIDS Foundation. When I'm not training or fundraising, you'll find me learning languages like Japanese and Portuguese, thanks to Duolingo. Weekends are for refueling with family and friends over good food and, of course, indulging in one of my favorite activities: napping!
